So yesterday I had my first day of classes! It went pretty well. For the first three weeks of classes, it is a review period, so i only have two classes. My first class is a review grammer and composition class, I have that class Monday through friday from 9am-12:45pm. While yes the class is very long, we get a half hour break and at this time everyone goes and gets coffee! My second class is called cultural relaities. In this class, we learn about the culture of Sevilla and surrounding cities in spain. I have this class only on Tuesday from 1-2pm. So I had that class today. It should be a great class to learn more about the people and the way they live here. For the rest of the day, I prob. will be doing homework and of course maybe a siesta, then later maybe going out..we will see though!!:)
The following picture is the name of my school, this sign is right outside the door to my school. My school is made for abroad students and inside it has beautiful title walls and a beautiful fountain in the middle of the main office area.
I'm glad your first day of classes went well! It's so weird to think that your semester is just starting and were almost a month into ours. That one class sounds long, but I bet it's helping a lot, so you can understand the language better. Do you know what classes you'll be taking after the first 3 weeks?
ReplyDeleteyeahh, I will be taking another spanish grammer course, a spanish civilization course to count for beyond the west , and an ESL class to count for an EDU credit then I still have that cultural realties class all semester long
